Everyone starts with an intro session. This gives us time to talk through your goals, assess how you move, and make sure we choose the right training option for you before you begin.
Yes. The intro session helps make sure we are a good fit and that your training starts with a clear plan. It allows us to understand your goals, answer your questions, and set things up properly before you commit to ongoing training.
Your first visit is an intro session. We will talk through your goals and past training experience, do a brief movement check, and make sure everything feels safe and appropriate for you. We will finish by mapping out your next steps so you leave with a clear plan moving forward.
For most people, 2 to 4 sessions per week is the "sweet spot" for seeing strength gains and improved mobility without burning out. During your initial strategy session, we’ll look at your schedule and lifestyle to find a frequency that you can realistically maintain long-term.
Semi-private training (https://www.forwardtraining.ca/personaltraining)is an intimate setting with 1–3 clients where you follow a program specifically customized to your individual goals and injury history. Small group training (https://www.forwardtraining.ca/group-training)is a larger coached session focused on a blend of strength, conditioning, and mobility that follows our structured weekly programming. Both options ensure you have a coach watching your form at all times.
